We are very happy to announce that the pilot implementation of PR1 and PR2 has been successfully completed in all partners\u2019 countries! \u0391s part of the piloting, workshops were implemented in which young people participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, PR1 is a workshop programme based on the philosophy for community (P4C) methodologies and PR2 is an Artful thinking workshop for adolescents and young adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expected results from the workshops\u2019 implementation are the development of critical thinking skills among youth people living in disadvantaged neighborhoods and the upskilling of youth workers for the implementation of tailored active citizenship training programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PR1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of this tool is to provide youth workers and other professionals working with young persons with practical instruments that can guide them in the implementation of P4C based programmes to develop critical thinking skills. While being a stand alone tool, the report also complements Project Results 2 and 3, as it can be used as a part of a wider educational programme.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PR2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original Artful Thinking method aims to help teachers use works of visual art and music, in ways that strengthen student thinking and learning. The goals of this program are to help teachers create connections between works of art and the curriculum, and to help teachers use art as a force for developing students\u2019 thinking dispositions. Using the artist\u2019s palette as a central metaphor, the Artful Thinking \u201cpalette\u201d is composed of six thinking dispositions, which strengthen students\u2019 intellectual behaviours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
